About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 20262nd Glyfada Marina is one of the four municipal marina basins (A, B, C, D) that together make up Marina Glyfada, south of Athens. The marina is one of the oldest in the Athens area and lies along a 3-kilometre sandy coastline in the municipality of Glyfada, one of the more affluent suburbs on Athens' south coast.
The marina is run by the Municipality of Glyfada. The combined capacity of the whole Marina Glyfada complex is 810 berths spread across the four basins, and the second basin (this marina) holds around 94 vessels. Depending on depth and entrance conditions, the marina can accommodate boats up to 35 metres.
Electricity and fresh water are available at the berths, and fuel can be bunkered within the marina area. Close to the basin you'll find several restaurants and cafés, including those in the well-known fish-market area (Ιχθυόσκαλα) near the 2nd Marina, where fresh fish and seafood are on offer.
The marina is centrally located in Glyfada, just a few minutes' walk from the town square and shops, and the sandy shoreline around the basins makes the area popular with both local boat owners and visitors. Berth here and you'll be close to both the calm of the sea and the buzz of the town.
