About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026The 4th Marina of Glyfada is one of four basins that together make up the Glyfada Marina complex south of central Athens, along the so-called Athenian Riviera. The marina is run by the Municipality of Glyfada and is one of the older, more down-to-earth marinas in the area, known for being among the most affordable in Attica. The fourth basin has capacity for around 250 boats of various sizes.
The basin lies close to the port authority building, and port police are often present at both the 1st and 4th Marina. The facilities here are generally described as basic compared with the more modern marinas nearby, so you shouldn't expect the same level of service as in a fully developed marina.
Electricity and fresh water are available at the berths. Right behind the port authority building there is a parking area used by both boat owners and visitors.
It's only about a 15-minute walk to the centre of Glyfada, where you'll find a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafés. The coastline by the marina has blue-flag sandy beaches, and the marina promenade is a popular spot for an evening stroll with views of the boats and the sunset over the sea.
