About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Ålbæk Havn is a charming marina on the Kattegat, owned by Frederikshavn Municipality, offering berths for permanent boat owners as well as visiting yachts and motorhomes.
The entrance channel normally maintains a depth of 3.5 metres at normal water level, though this can vary due to sand drift. On arrival you find a vacant berth matching your boat's size and buy a ticket from the machine within 1 hour of arrival; the ticket must be displayed visibly from the quay or pontoon. A guest berth costs from 230 DKK per night for boats up to 10 metres (250 DKK including electricity), with rates increasing with boat length. Buy 7 consecutive nights and you only pay for 6. The harbour's slipway can be used for 90 DKK per launch or a 560 DKK annual pass.
The marina offers toilets, showers, drinking water and internet access included in the price, plus a waste station for used oil. Shore power is available for a fee, and fuel can be bunkered at the fuel berth on the south quay by the Auktionshallen (marked with a yellow quay). There is a barbecue area by the sailing club – note that grilling is not allowed on the pontoons themselves. Motorhomes are welcome at a dedicated parking area with views over the Kattegat, where you may rest for up to 24 hours.
