About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026ACI marina Palmižana is a seasonal marina set in the picturesque Palmižana Bay on the northeastern coast of Sv. Klement, the largest of the Pakleni Islands facing Hvar. The marina is described as one of the most beautiful in the Adriatic and lies in one of the region's safest natural harbours, though strong west or southwest winds can occasionally cause a swell.
The entrance is marked with an ACI signboard; to the north lies the dangerous Baba Rock, while a southern approach between the islands of Borovac and Sv. Klement has depths of less than 5 metres and is unlit. The marina is normally open from April to the end of October. Note that it is currently operating with reduced capacity due to ongoing reconstruction, and larger vessels can be moored sideways to the pier by prior arrangement when space allows. All berths have access to water and electricity.
Ashore you'll find a reception with an exchange office, a grocery store, a restaurant with a bar, toilets and showers, a laundry, a children's playground and WLAN internet. The marina is also equipped with a facility for pumping out holding tanks and operates under an approved waste handling plan.
Sv. Klement is a car-free island, and from the marina you can explore hidden coves and beaches on foot around the atmospheric Pakleni archipelago. Several restaurants lie within walking distance, including a well-known artists' restaurant with a gallery, and in summer water taxis cover the 2.
