ACI Marina Pula

ACI Marina Pula is a true city marina in the very heart of Pula, only metres from the Roman amphitheatre – the only marina on the Mediterranean offering this view. The enormous natural harbour has been used since early Antiquity and served as the main naval harbour of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and today it holds 194 berths.

The approach runs through a natural bay between the peninsula and the breakwater, with a green lighthouse marking the breakwater head and a red lighthouse at Cape Proština. An 8-knot speed limit applies inside the harbour, and the marina monitors VHF channel 17. The marina is open all year round.

All berths have water and electricity connections, and there are sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, including accessible restrooms. A crane of up to 10 tons is available for lifting boats, and there is a facility for pumping out holding tanks. Close to the marina is a fuel station on a small pier, plus a chandlery, an ACI store for basic groceries, a restaurant/bar (buffet), a sailing and diving club, and a charter office. Guests can use boat ramps, free Wi-Fi and parking ashore.

Within walking distance lies Pula's historic centre with the well-preserved Roman amphitheatre known as the Arena, city gates and Roman and Venetian remains, as well as a long shopping street and a 19th-century market hall. The scenic Brijuni Islands are in the immediate vicinity.
