ACI Marina Šimuni

ACI Marina Šimuni is situated on the western side of Pag Island in the Maun Channel, and can be considered the northern entrance to Dalmatia, being the last marina in the Kvarner archipelago. The marina lies in the small fishing village of Šimuni, roughly halfway between Pag and Novalja, and according to several sources offers around 191-200 wet berths and 45-70 dry berths, all equipped with water and electricity.

During the day a chapel southeast of the village serves as a landmark, while at night the approach is marked by a green lighthouse on the southern tip of the entrance. An unmarked shoal lies on the western side of the entrance, so keep to the middle of the bay when entering. When arriving at night or in bura winds, it is advisable to head for a berth in the northeastern part of the marina. Several sailing guides note that the marina can be called on VHF channel 17. There is no fuel station at the marina itself – the nearest tanking option is 7 nautical miles away in the town port of Novalja. The marina is equipped with a device for discharging fecal water, and it is open all year round.

Ashore you'll find a reception with an exchange office, a shop with ACI merchandise, a restaurant serving fish and meat dishes, a small grocery store for basics, and a specialist chandlery for nautical equipment.
