About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026ACI Marina Vrboska is a year-round marina located in the outer part of the harbour of Vrboska, on the northern coast of the island of Hvar, at the end of a bay that is long and narrow like a fjord. The marina offers around 85 wet berths plus 25 dry berths, and it has been awarded the Blue Flag for several years.
Approaching from the north, use the lighthouse on the island of Zečevo as a landmark before rounding the Glavica peninsula; at night the red light marking the entrance to Jelsa and the light on Cape Križ guide you toward the marina, whose piers are illuminated. Arriving from the south, southeast or east, you simply follow Hvar's northern coast. You can reach the marina by calling VHF channel 17. A daily wet berth for a smaller boat starts from around €48 in the low season.
On the pontoons you'll find water and electricity connections, toilets and showers, and a laundry. Ashore there is a 5-tonne crane and a slipway, a fuel station, car parking, free Wi-Fi, bike/scooter rental, and a restaurant right at the marina.
Just a short walk away lies the charming village of Vrboska, with grocery stores and bakeries only 300 metres away, plus restaurants and a small fishing museum, along with well-preserved churches such as St. Marija (15th century) and St. Lovro (16th century). Step ashore and let Vrboska's quiet fjord-side atmosphere set the tone for your stay.
