About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026ADAC Yachtschule Möhnesee is a sailing school with an attached marina on Lake Möhnesee, Germany's third-largest reservoir, known as "the Westphalian sea". It is the only ADAC yacht school in the whole of Germany, and sailing instruction has been offered here since 1970. The facility has a pontoon area with berths for both sailing and motor boats.
The marina is normally open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with Monday and Tuesday as closing days (except on public holidays). There is a crane berth near the Körbecker Fußgängerbrücke pedestrian bridge, where boats can be launched and hauled out, and operation of the pontoons continues independently of changes in operator. Ask on site about available guest berths at the pontoons.
On site you will find showers and shore power at the pontoons as well as a slipway for launching. There are also crane facilities for hauling boats in and out. The café and restaurant "Längsseits", with an adjoining beer garden, sits right by the marina, and there is parking available at the site.
Lake Möhnesee is a popular destination with plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation along its shores. Stop by the pontoons and ask about a guest berth or a lift with the crane.
