About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Aegna sadam is a small harbour on the southern coast of the island of Aegna in the Bay of Tallinn, off the Viimsi Peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. The harbour administratively belongs to Tallinn and carries the port code EE AEN. It is the only connection between the island and the mainland.
The harbour consists of a 75-metre-long and 8-metre-wide concrete breakwater with a quay on its eastern side. Along the outermost 35 metres of the quay the depth is 3.0-3.5 metres, becoming gradually shallower towards the shore. The harbour was severely damaged by storms in 2003-2004.
Aegna covers just 3 km² but offers around 15 km of walking trails, two sandy beaches, and a 10 km coastline. The island is also home to the protected glacial erratic Eerikukivi, and its history stretches back thousands of years. Aegna is a popular destination for day trips and camping close to Tallinn.
Moor at Aegna sadam and discover the island's nature and history - a quiet contrast to the bustle of the city, just a short sail from Tallinn.
