About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Alcaidesa Marina is a large marina at the Strait of Gibraltar, located on the western side of Gibraltar in the municipality of La Línea de la Concepción, in the province of Cádiz. The marina sits in a natural basin within the Bay of Algeciras and offers 624 berths for boats ranging from 8 to 90 metres in length.
You can reach the marina on VHF channel 9, and the marina office in the control tower is open every day of the week from 8am to 8pm, while berthing assistance is available around the clock. Berths up to 20 metres are on floating timber pontoons with fingers for boats up to 15 metres, while larger vessels berth at a fixed jetty with private vehicular access and parking.
At the berths you'll find metered electricity and water service pedestals, along with bathrooms, showers and a laundry with an industrial dryer. The marina has its own fuel station supplying diesel and 95-octane petrol, a 75-tonne boat hoist, and workshops offering a full range of specialist nautical services. At the heart of the marina is the Alcaidesa Lounge Bar, with a spacious terrace where you can enjoy panoramic views, and wifi is available throughout.
From here it's a short walk to Gibraltar Airport, and the town of La Línea de la Concepción with its tapas bars and restaurants is close by.
