About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Werft Allermöhe is a small, family-run boatyard and marina in the Allermöhe district of Hamburg, located directly on the Dove Elbe river and next to the A25 motorway. The marina was founded in 1928 by Jastram Motorenwerken and has been run as a family business for over 50 years; barges have been built here, traditional ships restored, and the ElbTrawler brought to success.
The marina is tide-free and protected from storm surges by the Tatenberger lock. In summer up to 25 boats moor at the yard, while around 80 sailing and motor yachts are craned ashore for winter storage; there is also a rail track with a slipway trolley for launching. Guest berths are available for yachts up to 12 m x 4 m, along with motorhome pitches, and the price for a guest berth (boat in the water) or motorhome starts from 25 euros per day/night. The office is open on Fridays from 09:00 to 16:00, other times by arrangement.
Facilities include toilets and showers, a washing machine and dryer, shore power at the berths, bike rental, a playground and a barbecue area, plus a restaurant and a grocery store. Canoes can also be rented during the summer months. The yard itself offers a crane for launching and hauling out, as well as boat service and repairs.
Moor at this idyllic yard on the Dove Elbe and experience a living piece of Hamburg's maritime history.
