About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Angistri Yacht Harbour lies on the northwest side of the small Greek island of Angistri in the Argo-Saronic Gulf. The island has two harbours - Skala to the east and Megalochori (also known as Mylos) - and this guest harbour belongs to the island's northwest side, which is suited to leisure craft, while Skala mainly serves as a ferry harbour.
Approach from the east can be made through the Steno Metopis channel between Aegina and the islets off Metopi, though this route is shallow and can be dangerous even in moderate winds. Coming from the south or west, the approach is straightforward, but you should keep well clear of the coast immediately west of the harbour, as shoals extend up to 100 metres offshore there.
Both the harbours at Skala and Megalochori offer water and electricity supply for visiting yachts, and both have supermarkets stocking provisions such as food, drinks and ice. Around the guest harbour itself you will also find several tavernas and cafés where you can unwind after your passage.
The island is wooded and inviting for walks, with good snorkelling along the coast. Daily ferries and fast boats connect the harbours to Aegina and the mainland, making it easy to combine a stop here with excursions. Tie up in this relaxed harbour and enjoy the island's green tranquillity after a day on the water.
