About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Port de Plaisance d'Auxerre – Aquarelle is a river marina right in the heart of historic Auxerre, in the Yonne department in Burgundy, where the waterway links the Yonne river with the canals of Burgundy and the Nivernais. The marina is run by the company Aquarelle, which has managed it since 2012 under delegation from the Chamber of Commerce of Yonne, while the site itself is leased from the state waterway authority VNF; alongside visiting boats, the marina normally has around fifty resident boats.
The marina welcomes passing boats for one night or longer, and it sits right in the town centre close to all amenities. The office is open in low season Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm, and in high season Monday to Saturday 9am-12pm and 2pm-7pm, plus Sunday 3pm-6pm.
On the pontoons you can get shore power for €8 per day, and there are showers for €2.50. A washing machine/dryer is available for €7, and diesel can be bunkered at pump price. Car parking on site is included in the tourist tax. The marina also has lifting equipment for launching and hauling out boats, offers boat-sitting/guarding, winter storage, and maintenance and repair services for Linssen Yachts and Euroclassic boats.
From the quay you step straight into historic Auxerre, within short walking distance of Auxerre Cathedral, the former episcopal palace and the Abbey of Saint-Germain. Berth up at Aquarelle and explore Auxerre's old town right from the waterfront.
