About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Arholma Österhamn is located on the southeast side of Arholma in the Stockholm archipelago and offers 20-25 guest berths with a harbour depth of 2-3 metres. Boats moor at anchor, and the guest fee is 150 SEK per night.
The passenger ferry to Simpnäs is just 600 metres away, from where SL bus 636 runs to Stockholm - handy if you want to leave the boat for a day trip.
At or near the marina you'll find a toilet, fresh water 100 metres from the jetty, and a sauna 100 metres away. Diesel, petrol and LPG are available 1 km away, and there is a boatyard 200 metres from the harbour. A restaurant and a grocery store are both 1 km away, with a pharmacy agent at the same distance.
Large parts of Arholma are a nature reserve with fine walking paths and trails. The Arholma lighthouse, built in 1768 and listed as a historic building, is 800 metres from the harbour, while Arholma chapel lies 600 metres away. Simesgården, dating from the 1600s, is the centre of the island's farming, and Bull-Augusts gård is now a hostel. The tourist office is in Norrtälje. Anchor up in the scenic Österhamn and walk the 800 metres out to the historic lighthouse.
