About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Augsburger Segler-Club (ASC), founded in 1903, is located on the western shore of Lake Ammersee in Utting and is one of Bavaria's largest and most traditional sailing clubs, with over 550 members and more than 200 berths.
Guest berths for visitors to the club restaurant are clearly marked at the outer end of the Nordsteg. During regattas, the club's harbour facilities with a crane, slipways and over 200 berths are made available to participants; keelboats moor at the regatta berths on Nordsteg, while dinghies are placed near the slipways. Earlier arrival or later departure can be arranged with the office, and free temporary shore berths are available between regattas by arrangement.
The marina offers a crane and slipway for launching and hauling out, as well as changing rooms and showers in the basement of the clubhouse. There are spaces with shore power for motorhomes in the upper part of the club grounds (bookable via the office), plus ample parking for cars and boat trailers. The club restaurant „Casino“, with its large terrace and view of Lake Ammersee, welcomes guests arriving both by land and by boat.
The restaurant now operates as Restaurant DA-LUI and sits right on the club grounds at Eduard-Thöny-Straße 26 in Utting am Ammersee, overlooking the lake. Moor at the marked guest berths at the outer end of Nordsteg and head straight to the Casino terrace for a break with a view over Ammersee.
