About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Båly Gjestehavn is part of the somewhat larger harbour at Båly on Spangereid, and it lies idyllically on the Lindesnes peninsula right by the entrance to the Spangereid Canal. The harbour is a mix of fishing and leisure boat harbour with guest berths close to the canal's southern mouth.
The guest harbour is available all year round, but is staffed during the period from around 15 June to 15 August, when the necessary facilities are available. Outside the summer season, arrangements can be made with the harbour office (Lindesnes Havn KF). There is a slipway for launching and hauling boats on a trailer.
Showers and toilets are located in the same building as Lindesnes Hytteservice, which is also where you pay the harbour fee. Fuel can also be filled at the harbour. Once the harbour fee is paid, there is no extra charge for water, waste disposal and wireless internet, when these services are available. Several specialty shops for boating and fishing gear, art studios and eateries line the quay.
It is a short distance to a grocery store, post office and petrol station, and within walking distance to the lovely bathing beach Kråkeviga. The restaurant Under is just a stone's throw from the guest harbour. Garnbua sells fishing gear and nets, and at Jentan på Båly you can buy fresh fish and shellfish, good lunch dishes and soft ice cream.
