About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Härnösand has three guest harbours in the centre of town: Norra hamnen at Skeppsbron and Piren, Kanaludden at Södra Sundet, and the boathouses at Nattviken. The harbours lie in the Höga Kusten archipelago and together offer around 76 guest berths spread across the four locations.
Depths vary between the berths: about 2.5 metres at Nattviken and on the western side of Norra hamnen, 3 metres at Kanaludden, and as much as 6 metres at Piren. Boats moor to a boom or to a buoy against the quay, and there is a waiting pontoon for the bridge opening. Two lifting bridges, Nybron and Västra Kanalbron, open on request at least one hour in advance; during the 2026 season Nybron can only be passed in one direction at a time due to ongoing bridge works. The guest harbours are open from 15 May to 1 October, and harbour fees can be paid via an app.
The harbours have service buildings with toilets, showers, a laundry machine and a kitchen, plus drinking water and power outlets at Norra hamnen. At Piren there is a fuel berth and free pump-out for holding tanks. Free wifi is available at all the guest harbours, and parking is available near the harbour area.
From the harbours it's a short walk into Härnösand's town centre with outdoor terraces, cafés and shopping. Berth at one of the guest spots in Norra hamnen, Kanaludden or Nattviken, and walk straight into the centre.
