Bacino San Giusto

Marina San Giusto sits in the middle of Trieste's old port and has for over twenty years been the hub of nautical tourism in the city. Built between the piers of the historic port, its central position immediately plunges guests into the pulse of the former Austro-Hungarian maritime capital, and it comprises both a traditional section for smaller craft and a mega yacht area for very large vessels.

You contact the marina on VHF, which is monitored continuously, for berth assignment before entering. The basin's seabed is muddy, and depths typically range between 5 and 15-17 metres depending on the source, so even deep-draught yachts can be accommodated. Watch out for ferries and cruise ships manoeuvring in and out at the nearby Molo Bersaglieri, as well as passing merchant vessels. The marina is accessible around the clock.

Every berth has drinking water and shore power, and the facility offers restrooms and showers, a laundry service (in-house or through an external provider with pick-up and drop-off on board), waste collection and wifi across the port area. The main building houses a multilingual reception, a tourist information point, a well-regarded seafood restaurant and a lounge bar with a panoramic terrace. For the mega yacht area, fuel and shipyard services can be arranged on request, and short-stay parking is available on the quay.
