About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Barsebäckshamn is a small, picturesque guest harbour in an old fishing village dating back to the 1400s, beautifully situated in the middle of the Öresund strait.
Approach the harbour on a transit bearing of 88°, watching out for the "Kulorna" shoal west-southwest of the harbour. Depths in the harbour range from 1.5 to 2.5 m, with only about 1.6 m in the southern basin. There are no marked guest berths – instead the harbour uses green/red signage, and you're welcome to moor at berths marked with a green sign. Guest berths cannot be booked in advance. The daily rate starts at 260 SEK for boats under 10 m plus 50 SEK for electricity, rising with boat length up to 580 SEK for 14-16 m. Payment is made on arrival via a QR code on the pontoon, after which you receive a code for the shower and toilet.
The harbour offers guest toilets, hot showers, laundry facilities and pump-out for holding tanks. Electricity is available on the pontoons for an extra fee, and the harbour office is staffed whenever the flag is up. Down by the harbour you'll find Barsebäcks Hamnkrog, overlooking the boats and the Öresund, offering varied menus plus an ice cream bar and its own harbour bar. In summer you can also buy food from food trucks. The harbour lends out bicycles free of charge – contact the harbourmaster.
