About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Barther Seglerverein is located on the west side of Barth's town harbour in north-western Vorpommern, at the entrance to the Bodden waters with easy reach of Scandinavia. The club has 40 berths along the quay, a fixed jetty and a floating jetty, with up to 10 guest berths available in season.
Berths have water and electricity connections, and there is a slipway for boats up to 7 tonnes as well as a trailer area and car park at the harbour. Toilets and showers are available in the sanitary container. The clubhouse restaurant is open in season from 07:00 to 23:00 and offers breakfast for visiting sailors.
The harbour area also has a mast crane and a travel lift for boats up to 45-180 tonnes, chandleries, diesel bunkering, boatbuilders and engine workshops, plus a water fuelling station and disposal of waste oil and bilge water. Guests can borrow bicycles in limited numbers.
The whole harbour area lies just a few hundred metres from Barth's charming town centre with good shopping (including REWE and two Netto stores) and a varied summer cultural programme, including a stage used by the Anklamer Theater close to the harbour. Tie up at the Barther Seglerverein guest berth and walk the short distance into the town square.
