About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Barther Segler-Verein is a small, welcoming club with a long tradition in northwestern Vorpommern, located on the west side of Barth's town harbour. Barth has developed into a watersports and service centre with boatyards, chandleries, engine and electronics workshops, and a water fuelling station.
The club has 40 berths at the pier, the fixed jetty and the floating pontoon, with up to 10 guest berths always available during the season. Berths are equipped with water and electricity connections. There is a slipway for boats up to 7 tonnes and space for trailers and cars. Diesel can be bunkered through a local oil supplier, and a mast crane as well as a travel lift of 45–180 tonnes are available in the harbour area.
Toilets and showers are located in the sanitary container. The club restaurant is open in season from 07.00 to 23.00 and offers breakfast for visiting sailors; the Schipperschuppen can be hired for catered events for up to 200 people. Visiting sailors can borrow bicycles. Oil and bilge water disposal as well as yacht equipment and boat services are available in the harbour area.
The entire harbour area is just a few hundred metres from Barth's town centre, which offers good shopping such as REWE and Netto, plus a varied summer cultural programme including a stage for the Anklamer Theater near the harbour. Barth is an excellent starting point for trips into the Vorpommern lagoon waters or onward to Scandinavia.
