About the harbour

Bassin à flot de La Tremblade is a visitor-friendly marina right in the town centre of La Tremblade, on the Seudre estuary in Charente-Maritime. The port consists of a tide-locked basin together with adjoining channels offering drying berths, with a total of 424 berths, of which 114 are afloat and 310 are drying berths in the channels, plus 8 visitor berths on the floating pontoons.

Access is via the Chenal de l'Atelier. The port only accepts boats with a maximum draft of 1.6 m and a maximum air draft of 15.20 m, and monitors VHF channel 9. The basin is protected by a tidal gate that keeps boats afloat even at low tide.

At the marina you'll find fresh water and shore power (220V) on the pontoons as well as wifi, toilets and showers. There is also a careening area, a 6-tonne crane, a boatyard and a chandlery, plus fuel available to both professional and leisure boaters. A slipway is also located at the port.

The marina sits right in the heart of La Tremblade's town centre, where the quays are lined with restaurants, oyster-tasting huts and artisan shops offering local flavours and craftsmanship. The area also boasts sandy beaches and a wide range of water sports nearby. Come and moor up in the basin to explore the town's lively quayside and its authentic local flavours.
