About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Bassin Bérouard is the western of the two basins that together make up La Ciotat's new marina, located north of the town close to the centre, the old harbour and the historic shipyards. Together with the eastern Capucins basin, the marina covers just over 4 hectares and is protected by rockfill dykes. Bassin Bérouard itself is equipped with 7 floating pontoons and can accommodate around 350 boats, while the whole marina complex has 650 berths in total, 13 of which are reserved for visiting boats, and is managed by Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence.
The marina listens on VHF channel 9. Visitor berths are typically located to the right as you enter Bassin Bérouard, and the entrance itself can be used at all states of the tide. The harbour master's office and a slipway are located on the mole between the two basins.
On the pontoons you'll find fresh water and shore power, and ashore there are toilets and showers. The marina has a fuel station, waste and used-oil containers, a mast crane for boat lifting, a laundry, and free wifi. Close to the marina you'll also find boat services/a boatyard offering sales, repairs and rentals.
Shops, restaurants and beaches are within easy reach, and since 2002 the marina has hosted the annual boat show Les Nauticales. Come alongside in Bassin Bérouard and enjoy both the marina atmosphere and the charming town within walking distance.
