About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Port de Dahouët is a marina in the Breton commune of Pléneuf-Val-André, in Côtes-d'Armor. The harbour traces its origins to the 12th century and was, in its heyday, one of the first ports on the Bay of Saint-Brieuc to fit out fishing vessels for cod fishing off Newfoundland and later Iceland. The harbour comprises two basins: a tidal section that dries out at low water, and a second part called the Bassin des Salines, which always remains afloat.

The marina offers 329 berths on pontoons and 170 moorings, including 36 for visitors, and can accommodate boats up to 17 metres in hull length. The port listens on VHF channel 9/16, and is accessible around the clock, with visitors given an access code by the harbour office staff.

Water and electricity are available on the pontoons during your stay, and toilets can be found near the Yacht Club. More specifically, there are 8 toilets, 8 showers plus one accessible facility, waste-sorting stations for rubbish and used oil, pump-out for grey and black water, and free wifi for 30 minutes. There is also chandlery, repair services and a crane nearby, a slipway, a wet basin and a careening area, plus paid trailer parking from June to September, along with two chandleries (ships) and a boatyard. Fuel is available in Pléneuf-Val-André, about 2 km from the harbour, and there is also a laundrette about 2 km away.
