About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Port de La Rochelle – Les Minimes is a large marina on France's Atlantic coast, divided into four basins (Bout Blanc, Marillac, Lazaret and Tamaris) with a total of 5,157 berths in the water, including 400 guest berths, spread across 64 pontoons.
The approach passes Tour Richelieu (day and night markers) through a dredged channel with a minimum depth of 0.8 m. The harbour office monitors VHF channel 9 and is staffed around the clock. Guest berth prices depend on boat length and season – from around €6.40 in low season (winter) for the smallest boats, with a 50% discount during low season (1 Jan–30 Apr and 1 Oct–31 Dec) and a free third night under certain conditions. The price includes water, electricity (1.3 kW), waste collection and toilet access.
The marina offers toilets and showers around the clock with badge access (free), fresh water and shore power (220V) on pontoons and quays, free wifi for marina guests, waste containers plus collection points for used oil and batteries. There is a slipway at the harbour office quay (paid access), three mobile boat lifts (up to 50 tonnes), a 30-tonne mobile crane and two fixed electric cranes of 2.5 tonnes. Fuel (diesel and unleaded 98) is available at a fuel berth with 9 pumps, card payment 24/7 and staff present in summer. The marina also rents out bicycles (first 2 hours free) and trailers.
