About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Prinses Beatrixhaven is located in Yerseke in Zeeland (municipality of Reimerswaal) and forms part of Yerseke's harbour complex opening onto the Oosterschelde. The port is split into a commercial section and a recreational section where pleasure craft berth. The recreational part of Beatrixhaven has capacity for around 125 permanent berths, 30 dry-storage spots and 50 guest berths along floating pontoons.
Since 2025, entry to both Beatrixhaven and the neighbouring Prins Willem-Alexanderhaven has been via a single approach channel. Always report to the harbourmaster on VHF channel 74 before mooring. If the harbourmaster is not present, you can moor at the visitors' pontoon or at the end of the K or L jetty — never take a private box without permission. Harbour dues are €1.75 per metre plus a tourist tax of €0.65 per person per night; drinking water and electricity up to 10 A are included in the fee.
Ashore you'll find a sanitary building with showers, a family shower and a baby-changing table. It also houses the clubhouse of Watersportvereniging Yerseke, which opens for a drink and a bite whenever the club flag is hoisted, offering views over the harbours. Right by the marina is restaurant De Viskête, and the harbourmaster can help arrange loan bicycles for exploring the surrounding area.
Step ashore and it's only a short walk to Yerseke's cosy village centre with restaurants, shops and a supermarket — the perfect place to sample the village's famous oysters and mussels.
