Belvedere Marittimo

The "Riva di Scidro" marina is located in Belvedere Marittimo, a coastal town in Calabria on the Tyrrhenian coast in the province of Cosenza. The harbour sits at the foot of Capo Tirone and is protected by a north-south outer breakwater split by the entrance channel; the facility is made up of two basins - a northern one with a pier and a southern one reserved for transient boats. According to the town's own website, the marina has a total of 150 berths, and fuel is available in the harbour.

Boaters can listen on VHF channel 16, and the entrance faces west, with outbound vessels having right of way over those entering. The seabed is sandy with depths of around 3-3.5 metres, deepening to about 4 metres at the entrance itself; the channel is marked by a fixed green light on one breakwater arm and a fixed red light on the other. The harbour is accessible around the clock.

Within the marina you'll find fresh water and shore power at the berths, along with toilets and showers. Fuel can be taken on at the quay, and a mobile crane/travel lift is available for launching and hauling out boats. Ashore there is also a restaurant, a bar, a small supermarket, parking, and a local boatyard/chandlery offering services to boat owners.
