About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bergens Seilforening is a guest harbour at Hjellestad, just south of Bergen, in the heart of the beautiful western Norwegian archipelago. The club is one of Norway's oldest sailing associations, and the marina serves as a gathering place for cruising sailors, racers, and youth sailors alike.
Guest berths are located at the outer ends of the pontoons, and harbour fees are paid through GoMarina. A service building at the clubhouse (entrance on the left-hand side) provides toilets and showers. If you need to haul out, boats must be brought alongside starboard side to, with set times for lifting and launching.
Electricity and fresh water are available at the outer ends of the pontoons, while toilets, showers and a washing machine are found in the clubhouse.
Within walking distance you will find the waterfront restaurant HAVN and the local grocery store Bunnpris in Hjellestad, along with beautiful hiking opportunities and the stunning Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Bergen city centre and Bergen Airport Flesland are easily accessible by car or public transport. Come and enjoy the same warm welcome that members of Bergens Seilforening cherish.
