About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bergshamra Båtklubb is a boating club marina in Bergshamraviken in Norrtälje Municipality, founded in 1965. The club has its own islet with a jetty and several facilities, along with net fishing rights around the islet.
Bergshamraviken is very shallow close to shore, with a water depth of no more than about 1 metre for the nearest 50 metres from the beach. To allow launching and hauling out, the club has had a channel dredged to a concrete slipway with a depth of up to 2 metres. The main jetty has 100 berths, all fitted with finger piers (y-booms) ranging from 2.0 to 3.5 metres apart and four, six or eight metres long.
The jetty is equipped with lighting, electricity and water. The service pier is 20 metres long and fitted with water, electricity and a pump for emptying boats' holding tanks. A 14-metre-tall mast crane on the service pier can lift up to one tonne, and the marina's slipway is rated for boats up to 6 tonnes. The clubhouse covers 41 square metres with a pantry and toilet, and next to the slipway lies a yard area with room for around thirty boats in the 30-foot class.
