About the harbour

Böbs-Werft Yachthafen is a guest marina combined with a boatyard on the Baltic Sea, located on the north bank of the Trave estuary in Travemünde, between the fishing harbour and the Skandinavienkai. The marina has around 130 summer berths and has for decades been popular in the region for its personal service and well-kept facilities.

C40 Approaching from the sea, the entrance lies directly behind the fishing harbour, with the blue BÖBS crane serving as a landmark. Visiting yachtsmen are warmly welcomed and can take a green-marked berth or check with the harbourmaster for availability. The marina accommodates sailing and motor yachts up to 25 metres in length and 4 metres draught, by arrangement with the harbourmaster.

All berths at the floating pontoons have electricity and water connections, and there is WLAN throughout the marina. Guests can make use of the yard's full range of services, including a 32-tonne crane and a mast crane, a chandlery and a sailmaker. There are also showers and toilets, a fuel station, a slipway, a laundry, and disposal facilities for waste oil and chemical toilet/holding tank. A restaurant is located at the marina.

After your passage, Travemünde's charming town centre is an easy walk along the fishing harbour. Here you'll find shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés, plus the elegant beach promenade with its expansive sandy beach. The nearby Brodtener Steilufer cliffs and the oldest lighthouse on the German Baltic coast are also within reach.
