About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Boo Båtklubb is a small marina and boat club in Boofladen by Boo Brygga in the Stockholm archipelago, within Nacka municipality. The club was founded in 1939 and today has around 100 members with a total of roughly 100 berths of varying sizes; larger berths for bigger boats are in short supply.
The club generally has no dedicated guest berths, but two marked guest berths for smaller boats are available near the old fishing hamlet (fiskeläget). These spots cannot be pre-booked — a first-come, first-served principle applies.
The marina uses an unusual method for launching and hauling out boats: a U-shaped tractor trailer with adjustable lifting arms raises the boat cradles and drives them down a slipway, after which the boat is launched directly from the trailer. Haul-out is limited to boats of up to 4.0 tonnes with a draft of up to 1.70 metres. The club also has a mast dock with a mast crane, where an ordinary sailboat mast serves as the crane for stepping and unstepping masts.
