About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Bootsclub Kamperfehn is a club-run marina on the Elisabethfehnkanal in Friesoythe-Kamperfehn, close to the border between Niedersachsen and Ostfriesland. The club was founded in 1980 and maintains an approximately 210-metre-long pontoon on the eastern side of the canal at canal km 2.2.
Sailors can moor at the club's own pontoon at any time, whether passing through or staying for a short period – visiting boats are always welcome. Note that the Elisabethfehnkanal is restricted to vessels of max 0.9 m draft, 20 m length and 4.5 m width, and that the canal's four locks and seven bascule bridges outside the main season are only operated by prior arrangement.
At the pontoon you will find toilets and showers as well as running water and a communal barbecue hut. Nearby facilities reported include diesel, petrol and gas, a boatyard/chandlery, and a restaurant, cafeteria and grocery shop.
Nearby lies the Moor- und Fehnmuseum in Elisabethfehn, which tells the story of the region's peat-bog history. Come and tie up at the long club pontoon and enjoy the quiet canal-side charm of Kamperfehn.
