Botenvereniging de Werf

Botenvereniging De Werf is a sailing and fishing club on the beach at Egmond aan Zee on the North Sea coast. The association leases three stretches of beach from the municipality where members can keep their boats during the summer season: one plot by the pavilion de Tropen in the north, one by the rescue brigade beneath the lighthouse, and one in the south next to beach operator Heinis, where the club's own clubhouse is also located.

The clubhouse has a terrace and an indoor area where members and donors can enjoy a drink – refreshments are bought with a voucher book at the bar. Opening hours vary by season, for instance every day from 10:00-21:00 in July and August, while May and September only have limited opening days. Behind the clubhouse are two containers for storing sailing gear and outboard motors, and members can use the club's two tractors to launch and haul out their boats. Outside the season, boats and trailers can be stored at two municipally designated storage sites, and the club also has a workshop hall at the end of Pieter Schotsmanstraat for repairing boats, trailers and tractors.

The club is located in the seaside town of Egmond aan Zee on the Dutch North Sea coast, close to the beach and lighthouse.
