About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bovallstrand Gästhamn is a guest marina in the outer part of Bottnefjorden, in the picturesque fishing village of Bovallstrand on Sweden's west coast. The marina offers absolute proximity to restaurants and services, with a family-friendly atmosphere at the entrance to the beautiful Bottnafjord.
The marina is well protected from southerly and westerly winds, and is a great alternative when it's too windy for the natural harbours outside. You can moor alongside floating docks and a fixed pier, and it's also possible to anchor between the marina and Badholmarna. Berths are booked via dockspot.com, and payment is made via dockspot.com or at the machine by the harbour office. The harbour office is located just before the service building and is open every day during weeks 25-33. Outside this period you can reach the Sotenäs municipality switchboard.
Harbour facilities include showers, toilets, washing machine/dryer, fresh water, electricity and wifi, as well as waste disposal. There is also pump-out for holding tanks and fuel. Around the harbour you'll also find a grocery shop and a restaurant, plus a couple of nice cafés and a local bakery.
Despite the large parking spot in the center of Bovallstrand it's a cosy place, and you can take a swim at the nearby Badholmarna. Moor up in Bovallstrand and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the west coast's charming fishing villages.
