About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Broken is a small island guest harbour in the Södermanland archipelago near Nyköping, operated by the sailing club Nyköpings Segelsällskap (NySS). The support association Brokens Vänner has, since 1958, helped fund the upkeep of the club island.
Mooring is done using an anchor. Boats with a draft over 1.8 metres are advised to approach from the south, as the jetty facing land offers varying depths. Side-mooring is not permitted at the outer pontoon berth, and there is a maximum weight limit of 15 tonnes. There is also the option of anchoring in the western bay, though no electricity is available there. If you are unsure where to berth, the harbour hosts can be contacted for assistance. NySS members pay no service fee, while non-members pay from 250 SEK per day for boats under 3 metres in beam, with higher rates for wider boats.
Electricity is available for a fee of 60 SEK. The island also has a sauna, which costs 25 SEK per adult to use, as well as the option to rent a boat for 100 SEK per use.
