About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Cala Figuera is a small, natural fishing harbour on the southeast coast of Mallorca, in the municipality of Santanyí. The harbour lies at the end of a narrow, fjord-like Y-shaped inlet and is regarded as one of the island's most authentic traditional fishing ports, with whitewashed fishermen's houses and boat garages (escars) lining the waterfront. The harbour has around 111 berths, a small number of which are reserved for visiting yachts on an outer pontoon, and you can call the harbour office on VHF channel 9. The activity is still predominantly fishing, though a permanent leisure fleet is also based here.
Facilities in the harbour include shore power and fresh water at the berths, a fuel pump, toilets and showers, plus waste handling with selective recycling and pump-out for bilge and waste water. Minor boat repairs are also possible. Going ashore, you'll find a restaurant/bar, a grocery store and a laundrette close to the harbour.
From here you can walk along the quay and take in the characteristic boathouses opening straight onto the turquoise water. Within walking distance lies the watchtower Torre d'en Beu, and the Mondragó Natural Park with the beaches of S'Amarador and Cala Mondragó is nearby. The town of Santanyí, with its Wednesday and Saturday market, is just a few kilometres away. Berth here and experience one of Mallorca's most authentic fishing villages, where sailing, walking and fresh seafood go hand in hand.
