About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Cala Gonone marina is the only harbour in the Golfo di Orosei and sits in the seaside quarter of the municipality of Dorgali on Sardinia's east coast. It is a small, charming marina with breakwaters to the north and south that shelter it from winds out of the first and second quadrants, mainly used by fishing boats and excursion craft alongside visiting yachts.
Before arrival you should call the marina on VHF channel 16 at least an hour ahead, and the approach must be made at low speed – max 3 knots – with sailing boats motoring in with sails down. The marina offers berths for craft up to 20 metres with a maximum draft of 4.5 metres, and moorings can be booked from a single day up to a full year.
On the quay you'll find shore power and fresh water right at the berth, sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, and round-the-clock security. There's a fuel pump for petrol and diesel for boats up to 35 metres, a mobile crane for launching and hauling out vessels up to 22 tonnes, and a slipway for trailerable boats. Waste and used oil can be disposed of at the marina according to current regulations.
Just steps from the quay you'll find the town's restaurants, bars and cafés, and bicycles are available to rent for exploring the surroundings.
