About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Cala Nido d'Aquila Small Harbour is a small marina on the island of La Maddalena in northern Sardinia, located in the south-western part of the island, just south of Cala Francese and close to Porto Rafael and the island of Spargi. The harbour consists of a stone quay oriented south-west along with several floating pontoons, and currently offers around 90 berths for boats up to 18 metres, while an expansion project for a further roughly 350 berths is underway.

On approach you should watch out for several submerged rocks and visible reefs on both sides of the entrance to the cala, though the harbour can be entered day or night if you reduce speed and keep a careful lookout. The seabed is rocky with weed, and depths at the moorings range from 1 to 4 metres. The harbour can be contacted on VHF channel 9 if needed.
