Cale de Pen Mané

Pen Mané is a marina at the mouth of the river Blavet, in the commune of Locmiquélic on Lorient's roadstead. The harbour has 150 berths on wooden and aluminium floating pontoons on piles, plus an older, now unused slipway, complemented by a few mooring buoys in the Blavet. The marina was inaugurated in the 1990s and is run by the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan, which in 2022 also opened a boat storage yard on land close to the old inclined ramp behind the shipyard.

The first pontoon also serves as a stop for the local water-bus line linking Locmiquélic with central Lorient just a few minutes away by boat.

At the marina you'll find a slipway, bike rental, and restaurants along the waterfront. Grocery shops are within short walking distance of the berths.

Walk up to the nearby Fort de Pen Mané, which offers views over the roadstead and the island of Groix – a fine reason to stretch your legs while your boat stays moored.
