Campingpark Buntspecht is located directly on the lake in Stechow-Ferchesar in the Havelland district and has a boat jetty (Bootsanleger) where boat owners can moor, as well as boat rental on site. The reception is open daily from 1 April to 15 October, 8am-1pm and 3pm-6pm (until 8pm in July and August). On the grounds you'll find the restaurant Pizzeria Don Carlo, a mini-market/shop and bicycle rental. The area lies within the Westhavelland Nature Park, Germany's first star park, where you can experience an especially dark night sky. Moor at the boat jetty and walk straight up to Pizzeria Don Carlo or the mini-market on the campsite.
