About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Casinon vierasvenesatama is a guest harbour on the island of Kasinosaari right in the centre of Savonlinna, next to the Spahotel Casino and linked by a footbridge to the town's market square. The harbour has 55 guest berths behind lockable gates, and in 2026 it was named the year's best guest harbour in Lake Finland by the Finnish Sailing and Boating Federation and the Finnish Fair Foundation, with boaters particularly praising the excellent location and good services.
An overnight stay costs up to 21 euros per day per boat, and the berth fee includes access to the hotel's spa. Check-in and payment take place at the bar of restaurant Est. 1969 inside Spahotel Casino, and shore power can be added for 6 euros per day if needed. Fuel is not sold at the harbour itself.
At the pontoons you'll find a water point, waste disposal and pump-out for holding tanks. The harbour's toilets, showers and laundry facilities are located at the adjoining spa hotel.
From here it is only a short walk to Savonlinna's market square and town centre — roughly 100–200 metres — as well as to the Savonlinnasali concert and congress hall on the same grounds as the hotel. Kasinosaari forms part of Savonlinna's national urban park, with footbridges continuing on to the more natural islands of Verkkosaari and Sulosaari. Tie up here and you're just steps from both town life and the spa hotel's bathing and dining facilities.
