Cercle Nautique Calédonien

Port Moselle sits right in the heart of Nouméa in New Caledonia and is the largest of SODEMO's marinas, with room for 700 boats afloat and 90 ashore. The average water depth at the berths is 5-6 metres. The marina also serves as a port of entry for yachts arriving from abroad.

Approach is by VHF channel 67, monitored daily from 7am to 6pm, when staff will assign a berth and assist with mooring. Night-time entry into the harbour is discouraged. Stays for visiting yachts are limited to 3 days in high season (15 May-15 December) and 6 days in low season. The office is open Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3pm.

On site you'll find toilets and showers accessed with a deposit-based key card, fresh water and electricity (5, 10 or 15 A) at every berth, waste sorting and oil collection at each pontoon, and pump-out for black water. A fuel station selling petrol and diesel stands at the end of the breakwater, alongside an ice-cream kiosk, grocery store, chandlery and laundry. The harbour office offers free wifi, mail handling and weather information, plus parking for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

From there it's just a few minutes' walk into central Nouméa and the Quartier Latin, with plenty of restaurants and shops. Berth at Port Moselle and step straight from the pontoon into the pulse of Nouméa.
