About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Cetara Harbour is a small municipal port in the fishing village of Cetara on the Amalfi Coast, close to Salerno, and is regarded as one of the last harbours on this stretch of coast. The port was originally built for fishing, still the town's main occupation, but it is increasingly opening up to leisure sailors.
During summer, floating pontoons are set up so boats can moor, and in good weather with a calm sea it is also possible to anchor west of the quay and go ashore by tender. Harbour services with all facilities are managed from 1 June to 30 September, and in high season the port can accommodate over 150 vessels and small pleasure craft.
At the berths there is access to drinking water, electricity and waste disposal, and within the harbour area there are toilets and showers.
Just a few steps from the harbour stands the historic Torre Vicereale, a 16th-century watchtower, along with the town's beaches - including Marina di Cetara and the beach at Lannio. Nearby you'll also find bars, restaurants, sandwich shops and stores selling local specialities. Moor at the floating pontoons and experience the authentic atmosphere of one of the Amalfi Coast's last true fishing villages.
