About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026The marina in Le Croisic lies in the heart of town, in the basin known as the «Chambre des Vases» (also called «Bassin Hervé Rielle»). The town sits on the south side of an old, partly silted-up sea inlet, and the harbour itself is arranged in several connected basins, called «chambres», where boats dry out at low tide. The Chambre des Vases has capacity for 347 berths, of which 281 are on pontoons, 27 are visitor berths on the pontoon in front of the harbour office and 39 are alongside the quay, plus a further 47 berths on mooring buoys afloat.
The harbour is run by a public-private company (a «Société d'Économie mixte»), and access is possible from two hours before to two hours after low water. Visiting yachtsmen are received on arrival in the channel and are then directed to a berth by the harbour office; for a permanent berth you must register on a waiting list at the harbour office.
Water and electricity are available on the pontoons, while toilets and showers are located at the harbour office. The harbour has bins for household waste, a free slipway for launching boats, plus a crane (around 8 tonnes) and a couple of chandleries nearby for minor repairs. Close to the basin there is also a restaurant and parking, including disabled parking.
