About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Marina Chiaiolella is a marina on Procida's southwestern coast in the Bay of Naples, set in an old, extinct volcanic crater bay between Punta Solchiaro and Punta Mezzogiorno. The marina is run by several private mooring operators and a consortium, and is said to hold over 300 berths spread across various piers and quays.
Entry should be made along the centre line between the two breakwaters; the eastern breakwater carries a fixed green light and the western one a fixed red light. The main pier in the western part of the harbour is T-shaped and built for larger boats, while other floating piers typically accommodate vessels from 5 to 16 metres; according to one marina guide the harbour can take boats up to around 18 metres with a draft of up to 5 metres. There is also a facility for self-launching your boat, plus a travelift with a capacity of up to 70 tonnes.
At the berths you have access to shore power, fresh water and wifi. Within the harbour area a boatyard service offers assistance with Volvo Penta, Mercruiser and Johnson engines. Along the quay there are several bars and restaurants with sea views, serving local specialities.
The marina sits right by the colourful old fishing village of Chiaiolella, and a short walk takes you to Ciraccio beach and up the Santa Margherita hill with views over the island of Vivara and Ischia.
