About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Port de Plaisance de Larraldenia is a marina shared between the towns of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure, built in the 1970s at the mouth of the River Nivelle in the Basque coastal landscape. The marina offers 81 permanent berths on floating pontoons and is reserved for boats under 16 metres.
The marina is accessible around the clock, all year round, regardless of tide. Maximum boat length is 16 m and maximum draught 2.5 m. There are 8 visitor berths on a dedicated guest pontoon. Take care when entering the bay, as rocks overhang the breakwater.
At the pontoons you'll find water and shore power (220V/16A), along with toilets and showers in the marina's sanitary building. The marina has its own fuel station, waste sorting and black-water pump-out reception, free wifi throughout the harbour area, laundry facilities and access for reduced-mobility visitors. Motorhome parking is also available at the harbour.
The marina sits centrally between Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure, just steps from the town centre and several beaches, including Plage des Dériveurs, Plage du Carré and Plage du Port in Ciboure as well as the well-known beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Berth at one of the 8 visitor spots and explore the charming Basque harbour town on foot.
