Cinquale Small Harbour

Porto Cinquale is a small river harbour in the municipality of Montignoso in Tuscany, at the mouth of the Versilia river on the Ligurian Mediterranean coast. The harbour is a modest basin, separate from the larger "Approdo Turistico del Cinquale" further up the river, and it offers space for around 67 smaller motor boats.

The harbour is largely seasonal in character and mainly accommodates small motor-powered leisure craft. The entrance lies close to the river mouth, and as with the rest of the Versilia river entrance, it is recommended to keep a course perpendicular to the coastline because of shallow depths, which can make entering and leaving difficult in rough weather.

At the berths there is access to fresh water and shore power, along with lighting and fire safety equipment. The harbour has its own 15-tonne crane for launching and hauling boats, fuel sales, boat storage and a repair workshop, as well as mooring assistance, watch service, weather service, waste collection, and toilets and showers for visitors.

Cinquale is a charming seaside resort in the Versilia area, known for its liberty-style buildings, palm-lined streets and well-kept beaches.
