About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Club de Vela Blanes is a marina and sailing club in Blanes on the Costa Brava, Catalonia, located at the north-eastern end of Blanes beach, east of the well-known Sa Palomera rock and beneath the Sant Joan hill, forming part of Blanes' fishing and leisure harbour. The marina has capacity for 309 boats with lengths between 7.5 and 24 metres and a berth draught of between 1.8 and 7 metres.
Entry to the harbour is normally straightforward in good weather. The marina monitors VHF, and there is a fuel station supplying petrol and diesel as well as slipways for light sailing boats.
Within the marina you'll find fresh water and shore power at the berths, toilets and showers, and a laundry service. The clubhouse houses a café and restaurant as well as a bar, and there is a recognised sailing school. The marina offers 24-hour staffed service, wifi and parking. For maintenance and repairs there is a crane and travel lift as well as waste collection, and chandlery supplies can be found in the area.
The marina is within walking distance of Blanes beach and the distinctive Sa Palomera rock, where the Costa Brava truly begins. A little further towards Lloret de Mar you'll find the beautiful coves of Cala Sant Francesc and Santa Cristina, ideal destinations for a day out by boat. Come and discover sailing life at the foot of the Sant Joan hill, right where the Costa Brava starts.
