About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Club Náutico Puertito de Güímar is a marina and yacht club in the coastal village of Puertito de Güímar, in the municipality of Güímar on Tenerife's southeast coast. The club was founded in 1972 and today operates a pontoon marina with a considerable number of berths, a large dry-dock area, and a workshop for cleaning, painting and repairing boats.
The entrance faces south to protect the marina from the prevailing northeasterly winds and swell typical of the area, keeping the water calm alongside the pontoons. According to sailing sources, the minimum depth at the entrance is around 2 metres, depths at the berths vary, and the marina monitors VHF channel 9.
At the berths you'll find shore power and fresh water. A slipway serves the launching of small boats, sailboats and jet skis, while a smaller davit crane handles intermediate-sized boats, and a travel lift takes care of the largest vessels. The club offers several dining options - an à la carte bar-restaurant, a buffet-style cafeteria-restaurant, and a bar for special occasions - plus free wifi in the study and library area. Parking is also available at the club's facilities.
Right by the mouth of the pier there's a swimming area with a sun terrace, perfect for a dip in calm water. The surrounding area is close to the famous Guanche pyramids and the volcanic landscape of the Malpaís de Güímar nature reserve, offering striking views for nature- and geology-minded sailors.
