About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026

Corbie Mooring is a river halte on the Canal de la Somme, situated right in the centre of the small town of Corbie, about 15 km upstream from Amiens at the confluence with the river Ancre. The quay lies by lock 14 and has been redeveloped by the Communauté de communes du Val de Somme, which renovated the area along the agricultural cooperative building to give passing boaters better access to the town centre with its shops, services and tourist attractions.

The mooring is organised into several zones: a waiting area for the lock passage with a launch point for canoes, a long-term zone reserved for commercial vessels (restaurant boats, live-aboard accommodation, bars and similar) subject to a fee, and a dedicated guest zone called the "relais nautique" for pleasure boats passing through or making a short stop. According to a cruising guide, there is also a separate quay upstream of the lock with mooring for three boats.

In the guest zone you can take on water and electricity from a coin-operated service point. A cruising guide also mentions showers at a nearby campsite.

Corbie town centre lies right next to the quay, giving you easy walking access to shops, eateries and sightseeing. Tie up at the quay in Corbie and explore this charming small town during your cruise along the Canal de la Somme.
